The Trojan Horse virus is a virus that is downloaded onto your computer and will start to infect your computer deep within your programs and files.  Knowing the Trojan Horse virus is on your computer will be hard to find, but can be done.  The virus will plant itself like a silent killer; you won’t know when the virus planted itself and the damage it has already created.

There are a few signs that you can watch for to know if the Trojan Horse virus has infected your computer.  You computer will start to run slow, your programs will also be slow, you will have trouble locating different files and programs that you have saved and your computer will be slow when you start it up.  If you notice any of these signs, you need to remove the Trojan horse virus from your computer immediately.

The most approach that you can take when removing the Trojan Horse virus is by using antivirus software.  Antivirus software is located on your internet browser for you to research and download.  Once the antivirus software is downloaded, run a “scan” to find the infected files.  Once the infected files are found, you will be able to remove the files and the programs.  Since the Trojan Horse virus can bundle itself within different programs, run the “scan” a couple of times to make sure it has located all the viruses.  As a safety precaution, use the antivirus software a couple times a year to make sure there are not any other viruses that have infected your computer.
